If women’s health is your passion, you should seriously consider working as a gynaecology nurse! You’ll assist in educating women about female anatomy and sexual wellness, as well as assess them for high-risk diseases, such as cervical cancer, or even HIV/AIDS. You could also assist women with early pregnancy and getting pregnant in an IVF clinic or women’s health clinic, working closely with gynaecologist physiologists.
You’ll also perform routine procedures, such as pap smears, cancer screenings, HPV screenings, and more. You’ll work with every woman, from older ladies having hysterectomies and prolapse to repairs to younger women having ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages etc.
