The Recruitment Process: From Application to Being Placed

First things first, easily get in touch with Proximity and talk to a helpful consultant. During this conversation, your friendly consultant will pinpoint the best position for you to be placed in. This is also known as a critical interview. This interview helps Proximity Healthcare evaluate your clinical skills, experience, and suitability for the specific job. Basic questions regarding education, training, work experience, clinical skills, communication skills, teamwork, laws, and regulations are asked.

Secondly, you will receive a registration email accompanied by a handbook to help you learn more about our agency. We will also assist you in compiling all the documents you need for the application. Of course, a diligent skills check will also be completed. It is conducted by a healthcare professional of a higher calibre to ensure that workers are competent and able to provide safe and effective patient care.

Thereafter, a literacy and numeracy competency test will have to be completed. The tests identify areas for additional training and support to prevent errors, improve knowledge, and promote growth. Here, each candidate takes their own journey to complete the necessary training. Besides the tests, you must also provide the relevant qualifications for the role for which you are applying.

Finally, regulatory body checks are conducted. The “body” refers to an organisation that holds accreditation to provide healthcare workers with a reference number that confirms their eligibility to practice.

After compliance has been thoroughly completed, all you need to do is state your availability and book your shifts.
